The Emmaus Community is a people of God professing our faith in a living Catholic tradition.  We seek to respond in love and wisdom to the realities of the contemporary world, and to  celebrate the love of Christ in all people.  We welcome diversity in all areas, including race, age, gender, marital status and sexual orientation. We join together in response to the call of the Spirit to preach the Gospel of liberation and justice and to pattern our lives after the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.  It is more than a slogan when we say,  "All are welcome!"
