We Welcome Everyone To Our Community And Table As Did Jesus

A member of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion

EMMAUS and the Ecumenical Catholic Communion are creating a New way of being Church!

WE recognize the entire human family as beloved children of God.

In our lifelong journey, we are called to open our hearts to God, to listen to God’s words, and to respond to God’s call.

WE welcome everyone to join us in prayer, communion and community.

WE are searching together for the best ways to encounter God in our own lives.

WE join together in the call of the Spirit to preach the Gospel of healing and justice.

WE pattern our lives after the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Emmaus Ecumenical Catholic Community of Oshkosh has partnered with Cherith Clothing and Resource Center in Oshkosh to help serve needy families and refugees in the Fox Valley by providing clothing , simple household items and a monetary donation for rent.  Emmaus collected clothing and household items for 3 weeks to donate to Cherith.  Items and a monetary donation were delivered to Cherith by Emmaus members Cathy Bober and Paula Hayford.  Cherith Organizer, Jenny van Burik and volunteer Barb Spellman were on hand to assist.  Cherith, on Main Street in Oshkosh, was started in June 2015 by Harry and Jenny van Burik  and is run through the generosity of volunteer workers and material goods donors.  Emmaus plans to join with other Cherith volunteers this summer to help with it’s outreach activities.
